This year’s annual One Author One Kirkwood author is Steven Rowley! One Author, One Kirkwood is a yearly community read for the people throughout our St. Louis community. Steven Rowley is the New York Times bestselling author of Lily and the Octopus, a Washington Post Notable Book of 2016, The Editor, named by NPR as one of the Best Books of 2019, The Guncle, a Goodreads Choice Awards finalist for 2021 Novel of the Year and winner of the 22nd Thurber Prize for American Humor, and The Celebrants, a TODAY Show Read With Jenna Book Club pick. His fiction has been published in twenty languages.

This event takes place at St. Louis Community College – Meramec Theatre. Limited quantities of Steven Rowley’s latest book, The Guncle Abroad, will be available for attendees on a first come, first serve basis. Funding for the One Author series of programs is provided by the Edward Chase Garvey Memorial Foundation.

Harmonious

Join COCA’s premiere vocal company, Allegro Vocal Company, for their end–of–season music spectacular, Harmonious. This concert will showcase Allegro along with members of COCA’s voice department. Harmonious will focus on the horror musical genre and feature songs from musicals such as Sweeney Todd, Jekyll and Hyde, and Little Shop of Horrors. The show will also include a piece from the St. Louis Children’s Choirs.
