Pernikoff Brothers - Album Release Show

Kirkwood Performing Arts Center

Album Release Show

The Pernikoff Brothers are a modern folk-rock trio from St. Louis, comprised of songwriters Tom and Rick Pernikoff, along with drummer Kevin Bowers. On May 27th, 2024, the trio achieved a career milestone by recording 10 songs live at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, specifically in Studio 2, made famous by The Beatles.

To celebrate this monumental achievement, they are releasing the live album first in their hometown at the Strauss Black Box Theatre, offering fans an exclusive opportunity to hear it before anyone else. Staying true to the magic of their Abbey Road session, the Pernikoff Brothers will perform as a trio, replicating the same intimate and dynamic arrangements they recorded in Studio 2.

Known for their eclectic sound that draws comparisons to iconic acts like Dave Matthews Band, The Police, Kings Of Leon, and Simon & Garfunkel, the Pernikoff Brothers transition from expansive, full-bodied songs that sound larger than life to stripped-down acoustic performances highlighted by harmonies and heartfelt lyrics.
During this special event, Tom, Rick, and Kevin will share behind-the-scenes stories from their Abbey Road recording experience, perform every track from the new album, and include selections from their wider repertoire—including new, unreleased tunes.

Fans attending the concert will have the chance to purchase vinyl editions of the album and exclusive merchandise available only on location. Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the Pernikoff Brothers’ unforgettable music and stories up close and personal.

Meet Me At Dawn

Marcelle Theatre

Upstream Theater presents "Meet Me at Dawn" by UK playwright Zinnie Harris, directed by Larissa Lury

Two women wash up on a distant shore following a boating accident. Dazed by their experience, they look for a path home. But they discover that this unfamiliar land is not what it seems — and that, though they may be together, they have never been further apart. A deeply moving, lyrical meditation inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.
