A Christmas Carol: The Remix

In this laugh-out-loud musical remix of Dickens’ classic tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Hip-Hop Past, Present, and Future. As Scrooge is shown the path of rhythm and redemption, will he throw off his selfish chains and get down to the beat? Christmas Carol: The Remix mixes everything from reggae to rock, taking this beloved tale of love, forgiveness, and Christmas spirit to the next level. Best enjoyed by ages 12 & up. 

Performances take place through December 22, with varying times.

Conceived & Music Directed by Phil Woodmore, COCA Artistic Director of Voice

Joyful celebrates the winter season in song with a variety of music performed by pre-professional artists in Allegro Vocal Company. Allegro will be performing holiday favorites, such as “Carol of the Bells,” along with traditional and pop concert style music. Joyful will open with a performance by local acappella quartet Momento and will feature a piece by The St. Louis Children’s Choirs. This concert will be a joyous celebration!

Two great local bands join forces for the first time at the Duck Room this December. A rare live show for Rulers, this will serve as the album release party for the upcoming, country-inflected "Rulers on the Range" album, which features guest performers from bands like the Red-Headed Strangers, Diesel Island, and Sadie Hawkins Day. For the Late Greats, this show will see the debut of new songs from their forthcoming as yet untitled release.
