It’s that magical time again – when a handful of comedians gather to question their life choices and pretend you're not scrolling on your phone during their set. Join us on December 7th at 8pm for a night of laughter (or at least audible exhaling through your nose).

We've got Alex Hayes, who swears he's funny; Harley Bushdieker, bringing laughs with a side of existential dread; Mollie Amburgey Day, who’s made peace with the fact that her life is your entertainment; and Eric Reussler, who once almost made his mom laugh.

Come for the jokes, stay because you’re already sitting down. See you there!

Tune Class - The Reel Deal w/ Eimear Arkins

Kick off the new year with Eimear Arkins, host of the next Tune Series "The Reel Deal." Take a deep dive into how to get the bounce and swing into Irish reels. Eimear has six Irish tunes to share, along with ornamentation and bow techniques to give your fiddlin' a "reely" Irish flair.

This is a great opportunity for folks who are looking to expand their repertoire or play in Irish sessions. All ages are welcome, and the content and pace will be suitable for intermediate to advanced players. Contact us for more details on what to expect and whether Eimear's Tune Series is a good fit for you.

Tunes will be taught by ear with recordings provided to help you practice as soon as the Tune Series begins. Bring your instrument and - if it helps you learn - a recording device (cellphone) or a notebook and pencil.

Dates: January 11th, 18th, and 26th (2pm - 3pm)
Location: St. Louis String Collective
Registration closes Friday, January 3rd

We will be filming each class and the videos will be made available to participants at the end of the session.
